Why are we allowing solar panels to swallow up our farmland?

The Spectator has published an article by Ross Clark which highlights how wrong the decision was to allow 800 acres of arable farmland in Graveney to be covered in solar panels.

Mr Clark compares the outputs of the land for electricity generation to the volume of food that could be produced if it continued to be farmed, stating “At a time when food price inflation is rampant, this is a conflict which deserves to be taken seriously“.
