We have many great organisations supporting our campaign to Save Graveney Marshes. Some of these are charities, all doing an amazing job to protect rural landscapes, our wildlife, biodiversity and more. One of these charities is the CPRE, the Campaign to Protect Rural England, working for a countryside that’s rich in nature, accessible to everyone and plays a crucial role in responding to the climate emergency.
Like many charities, the CPRE have been hit hard by Covid-19, so Vicky Ellis from CPRE Kent is raising money to continue their work. Vicky will be taking part in the 2.6 challenge organised by the London Marathon committee to raise funds in the absence of a live 2020 Marathon.
“I’ll be running round a paddock 26 times for CPRE Kent because I want to help protect the countryside and fauna. Any amount, even 50p would so much appreciated.”
Here is a link to Vicky’s fundraising page. And a link to the CPRE.
Good luck Vicky!
