Here’s some coverage from KMTV.
Great to see this, but please can reports show properly what the solar panel design for this is actually like? We’re facing dense, east-west, industrial, mega-panels – these are not like the pictures of solar panels that are used in this film. Also, we must not get distracted by changes in the plans of plus or minus 10 hectares here or there. This is a mega-scale proposal unlike anything that’s been done before – it is a format of solar energy production that is suitable for deserts not a greenfield site.
A Kent MP says she’ll fight plans for a huge Solar park as she believes they’ll destroy a quiet village.
Faversham and mid Kent MP Helen Whately’s expressed her fears after developers submitted new proposals for the site which would be the size of 900 football pitches.
Poppy Jeffery has been to see Mrs Whately.

No! No! N0! the area currently set aside for solar panels has been a major resting place for both Berwick swans and Geese and I have photographic evidence of this.. If the developers would like to put panels on all the houses of Faversham, a equivalent surface area I might agree with their plans!!!!
