The public events in Sheppey, Seasalter, Graveney and Faversham have now concluded. These events have been very difficult for many people – its not easy talking to profit-oriented developers who seem immune to the emotions and reactions of local people. The events have allowed locals to discover just how monstrous the scheme is. I know of at least two people who left the Graveney event in tears after seeing what is being proposed!
To counter the clearly biased, and frankly misleading developer events, the Graveney Rural Environment Action Team (GREAT), is hosting its own Community Event.
Please join us at the All Saints Church in Graveney on Saturday 30th June from 10:00 to 14:00.
No developers will be present – just local people, independent experts, and some of our elected representatives. This is a great chance to discover more about the true extent of this proposed industrial vandalism.
Refreshments will be provided, and there is ample parking next to the Church.
